Email Verifier: check if an email address is valid before you send

Checks syntax, DNS and MX records and, where permitted, the mail server itself. An address is never called valid just because the domain accepts mail.

How Email Verifier works

  1. Paste an email address.
  2. We check syntax, domain, mail servers and accept-all behaviour.
  3. You get valid, invalid, accept-all or unknown, with the evidence and a timestamp.

What each label means

Observed Seen directly in a public source, such as the company's website or a registry filing.

Inferred Generated from the company's detected email pattern. Plausible, not proof that the mailbox exists.

Verified The mail server accepted this address and rejected a random one.

Uncertain Checked, but deliverability could not be established either way.

Every result carries a timestamp. An address is never called deliverable just because the domain accepts mail, and verification never sends a message.

Email Verifier API

Questions

What does accept-all mean?

The domain's mail server accepts every address, so a single mailbox cannot be confirmed. We say so instead of guessing.

Do you send an email to the address?

No. Verification never sends a message.

Can I verify a list?

Yes. Bulk Verification in the app processes thousands of addresses and exports by status.
